Preparing Families for Life Overseas
We still have a few spaces left for adults and school-age children on the Preparing Families for Life Overseas day workshop on the 26 March 2011. Biblefresh at Redcliffe
We have several Biblefresh events in the next couple of months:

• The Redcliffe Lecture in Bible and Mission will be held on Wednesday 30 March from 7.00-9.00pm. Eddie Arthur, Executive Director of Wycliffe Bible Translators UK, will speak on the topic of  “Reading the Bible with the Global Church: opening our eyes to see how God speaks worldwide”. There will also be small group discussions led by local church leaders. The evening is free, but pre-booking is required – for more information visit www.redcliffe.org/bible-and-mission-lecture-2011

• Biblefresh mornings run on Saturday 5 March and Saturday 2 April from 9.30am-12.30pm.  In March, the seminar will focus on Grasping the big picture – a journey from Genesis to Revelation while April’s seminar will help you in Reading and applying the Bible – some tools for the task. Biblical Language weeks
If you are interested in learning the basics of Biblical Hebrew or New Testament Greek, then our Biblical Language weeks are for you. Each week provides a focused and fun introduction to the language, and there is a 20% discount for those working with churches and mission agencies. Reflections on Energising the future
Our recent JRI/Redcliffe Environment Day Conference attracted a large number of people interested in how Christians can respond to issues of sustainable energy. You can read the reflections of one of our students and listen to recordings of the main sessions here.

Just mission
Justice in mission is increasingly being recognised as key to integral mission. The December edition of Encounters Mission Journal focussed on the issue.  From 2011/12, students will be offered the opportunity to study elements of justice in mission at undergraduate and postgraduate levels (subject to validation by the University of Gloucestershire). MA summer school
If you are interested in studying at postgraduate level but cannot afford the time to study full-time, why not consider our Flexible Learning MA programme? All our MAs are available in Flexible Learning Mode. You study for up to four years, with a combination of residential taught intensives (either a three-week summer school or long weekends through the year), and distance type learning with email support from faculty. Mini study breaks
Gain a taste of studying at Bible College, or be refreshed and equipped for service with our mini study breaks from 16-27 May. You will take part in both interactive class sessions led by Redcliffe faculty and guided study time to help you consolidate and reflect, and study from three days (one topic) to two weeks (all four topics). Dates and subjects are as follows:

• 16 –18 May Apologetics in a hostile world: Meeting the challenge of militant atheism
• 18 –20 May  Theology for the church: an introduction to loving God with our minds
• 23 –25 May  Bible and Mission: thinking through the Bible missionally and mission biblically
• 25 –27 May  Spiritual Formation: growing deeper in God.

How much am I worth?

Many people involved in Christian ministry ask themselves this question.  The responsibility to raise financial support for the work they are called to can raise fears and questions about identity and self-worth.  Coupled with a daunting level of personal financial need in a time of national economic restraint, the task can seem overwhelming.  But there are encouragements and answers.

This day seminar run by Ted Pilling (a representative of the UK Navigators and a Redcliffe College MA graduate), helps to answer the questions. Ted has taught this course to hundreds of people over the past 20 years, and he has many more years of experience of living by its principles.
